ISI SDGs 20201213
Let's become a leader in community development where no one is left behind!
The ISI Group has its headquarters, Japanese language school, vocational school, and university in Toshima Ward, which selected as the "SDGs Future City" and "Local Government SDGs Model Project" and the entire group is working on SDGs. And It has been certified as "Special Ambassador for International Arts and Culture / SDGs Special Ambassador".

This time, ISI has prepared an event where you can work on, feel and deepen your understanding of the SDGs.

Have you heard of the term SDGs in the first place?

While we live in Japan without any inconvenience, there are many issues that should be worked on a global scale, such as climate change and poverty.

Even if it is not a serious problem in Japan, it is not only another country's issues as long as you live on the same earth.

In this way, the goals set up to work on the issues such as environment, education, and economics facing the world is "Sustainable Development Goals", SDGs for short.

Regarding the content of the event, we will first pick up trash in Ikebukuro (around Sunshine City) as an actual approach to environmental issues, and then move indoors to hold an exchange meeting on SDGs.

In addition, this time, students who work on the SDGs as a circle on a daily basis will participate as well.

I hope everyone can feel those members' wishes and insights like what is the purpose of the SDGs in the first place, why it is necessary to work on the SDGs, and how to work on it for the first action, etc.

Therefore, those who are already working on the SDGs will be able to spend valuable time to exchange opinions as the same recommendation side, and those who have heard it for the first time will get interested, and take the first step of new learning.

We hope the event will give you an opportunity to consider once again while feeling the close global of the earth where we live and to support your future.

From the step of everyone to the step of the earth!

We are looking forward to your participation!

Workshop of the Introduction to SDGs
This time, ISI will hold the "Workshop of the Introduction to SDGs", which will be the forerunner of SDGs efforts.

This SDGs have recently come to be heard on TV, but their public awareness is still not enough.

Also, I guess there are many people who have heard the name but do not know what it is.

We have decided to hold this workshop because we want to provide such people with the opportunity to experience and learn about the SDGs.

In the workshop, the director of the ISI Global Education Center which has been certified as the Toshima Ward International Art and Culture Ambassador / SDGs Ambassador, will be a lecturer.

We will also have discussions so we hope that the participants will spend their time immersed in the SDGs.

Why don't you join us in the first step starting with "What is SDGs?".

We are looking forward to your participation!
